[영등포방송] 올해로 창간 20주년을 맞은 영등포신문은 지난 11일 오후 6시 동양웨딩홀 1층 대연회장에서 ‘2015 송년 및 후원의 밤’ 행사를 개최 했다.
편집자문위원회 김학모 사무총장의 사회로 진행된 이날 행사에는 조길형 구청장과 박정자 구의회 의장을 비롯해 신경민 국회의원, 새누리당 영등포 갑·을 박선규·권영세 당협위원장, 김원국 민주평통협의회장, 김종구 (사)아시아사랑나눔 총재, 유광상 서울시의원, 노승범 시설관리공단 이사장, 차우수 (사)한지산업기술발전진흥회장, 박상기 뉴욕주립대 스토니브룩 교수, 미국 캐년 장로 내외(미국 해군 핵전문가 은퇴) 등 내·외빈 및 영등포지역 기관·단체장, 애독자들이 참석했다.
이날 행사는 정찬선 고문(전 영등포세무서장)의 윤리강령 낭독에 이어 부동산전문가인 임동권 하나부동산중개(주) 대표이사가 신임 편집자문위원에 위촉됐고, 이어 투철한 사명감과 헌신적인 봉사정신을 발휘하여 지역사회 발전에 기여한 공로로 이재임 영등포새마을부녀회장과 이미자 영등포경찰서 전의경어머니회 총무, 김태호 신오장학회 총무, 임여정 페트롤맘 영등포지회 사무국장이 각각 ‘사회봉사대상’을 수상했다.
2부 만찬에서는 이시원(팝페라 가수), 최연아, 전시현, 송준(경찰 가수), 신풍 가수가 출연해 분위기를 한껏 고조시켰다.
The 20th Anniversary Dinner
Marking the 20th anniversary of the establishment Yeongdeungpo News, a ceremony was held at 6 pm, on Friday, December 11, 2015 at the Grand Ballroom of Dongyang Wedding Hall, Yeongdeungpo. It was conducted by Kim, Hakmo, Secretary-General of Editorial Advisory Board and attended by many community leaders, lawmakers, readers, citizens and guests of all walks of life. Just to name some who were present, Cho, Kilhyung, Yeongdeungpo Mayor, District Council Speaker Park, Jungja, Congressman Shin, Kyungmin, Park, Sunkyu (Saenuree party), Kwon, Youngse, former Ambassador to China, Yoo, Kwangsang, SMG City Council, Park, Sangkee, professor of SUNY at Stony Brook, and Elder and Sister Cannon of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Guests enjoyed food, entertainment and wished the continued success of Yeongdeungpo News. In a speech welcoming guests to the event, publisher Kim, Yongsook spoke highly of the love and support of both readers and advertisers. “We are seeing good progress thanks to our readers’ support. We will continue to do our best to contribute to Yeongdeungpo to help it become a more attractive place to live.” Elder and Sister Cannon were the only non-Korean (American) who attended the ceremony and joined in the cake cutting event. “We’re missionaries and have been in Korea just three months. We’re so honored to participate today’s special event. We love Yeongdeungpo and we go to church here. We were happy to attend and hope to come back next year. This has been a great event.”
The event was held in conjunction with the Year-end party and Appreciation for supporters and included congratulatory speeches followed by various entertainment. Yeongdeungpo Mayor Cho said “Congratulations on your 20th anniversary! We want to see the paper to continue to work with the district and help us do our job better.” The party was highlighted by wonderful performance by Lee, Seewon, Choi, yeonah, Jun, Seehyun, Song, June and Shin, Poong. Song is a very well-known as a police officer singer.
